Work Permit Requirements
If you are in Canada and you want to apply for a work permit, you must meet one or some of the following requirements:
Under (PGWP), international students who have completed a post-secondary education in Canada can apply for PGWP.
The PGWP is an open work permit that allows you to work. There is no need for a job offer or LMIA. This permit allows to legally stay in Canada and work full-time, part-time. International students are only allowed to have one post-graduate work permit.
The duration of the PGWP depends on the length of the study program. If the program of study is at least 8 months and less than 2 years in duration, the length of the Post-Graduate Work Permit may be 1 year.
If the program of study is two years or longer, the Post-Graduate Work Permit is generally issued for the period of three years.
Canadian citizens and permanent residents have an option to invite their parents and grandparents to Canada for the period of up to two consecutive years. Super Visa is issued for a period of 10 years, and it allows for re-entry into Canada. Parents and grandparents cannot work under this category.
Requirements
Only parents and grandparents of Canadian permanent residents and citizens can apply for a Super Visa. Dependents cannot be included in the super visa application. The Super Visa application can only include parents, grandparents, their spouses or common law partner
